Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale were staying in Amritsar, Sangat came to visit them. Sant Ji were sitting on a bed and the rest of the Singh’s were sitting on the floor. Baba Thakur Singh Ji came to visit Sant Ji and Sant Ji got up off his bed and respectfully had Baba Ji sit on the bed and Sant Ji did Baba Ji’s satkaar (respect/sewa) fully. When Baba Ji left, a singh asked Sant Ji that how come they got up off the bed for the old man (Baba Ji) for Sant Ji were Damdami Taksal’s Jathedar, Sant Ji replied to the singh
“Have you ever seen God? The person for whom i got up was God”
Such pure was the Jeewan of Baba Ji. It elaborates the Jeewan (life) of Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, who were always ready for the sewa and sangat had the honour of watching him oiling Kes of singhs who had then came from Gurudwara Sahib after doing Kirtan. Even Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale respected Baba Ji’s high spirtual state. Sant Giani Kartar Singh Ji took the decisions after consulting Baba Ji. And had made a proclaimation that in his absence Baba Ji would take care of Taksaal and can give the responsibility of leading the Taksaal to whomsoever he wish. Thus Baba Ji, selected Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale for the duty. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji too respected Baba Ji fully, and had left the Taksaal’s charge in Baba ji’s hands when sant ji himself along with a part of jatha were staying at Harandir Sahib, Siri Harmandir Sahib
